“Worship” can be sometimes used as a word to describe church music, but is definitely not limited to just that. To live a life of worship, we must be striving to live our lives in a way that glorifies and reflects God to our world. We worship God by placing Him above ourselves and our desires, and by reflecting on the many ways we have been blessed by Him.

In the context of church services, NorthRidge is a progressive congregation with musical ability and a desire for experiential worship. The goal of the worship team and leaders is to set the mood of the service, drawing the congregation’s attention to the presence of God. Worship music is used as a tool to connect our minds and hearts with God’s; we purpose to lead the congregation in a time of worship that will allow this to happen.

Worship is alive. Worship reflects our hearts. Worship is relevant.
